MSU Sponsors Quilt Trail Gathering August 11, 2012

Dr. Julie Avery, Michigan State University, will facilitate a gathering
in Marion, MI on Saturday, August 11, to encourage interested individuals
from throughout Michigan to learn about starting or growing a quilt trail.
The Osceola Quilt Trail will host the event at the Marion United Methodist
Church, beginning at 9:30 am. Advance registration is encouraged.

Participants can expect roundtable discussions on Community Involvement,
Quilt Blocks 101 – Designing, Drafting, Painting and Installation of Quilt
Blocks, Promoting and Financing a Quilt Trail, and Assessing the Economic
Impact of Quilt Trails on Rural Communities.

  1. I am not available at the time of this meeting Howevr, I would love to hear about th meeting for our quilt guild in Midland. Could I receive follow up information, if available.
