A Pair of Dresden Plates

Max Patterson’s barn is host to two Dresden Plate quilt blocks. The large one on the big barn was sponsored by Great Lakes Energy People Fund, and the small one by the Patterson family. Both can be viewed from the US 131 freeway, just north of the Reed City, MI interchange, and the large one from 220th Avenue, just north of the Burger King. Max and his late wife made several Dresden Plate quilts as gifts for family members. The blocks are in memory of Eileen Patterson. Max just celebrated his 88th birthday!
